"Between wolves" is a spanish film. It's based in a real history, the live of Marcos Rodríguez Pantoja, boy in the postwar period that he lived in the nature surrounded for wolves.
A film beautiful, very emotive and active that will awaken your feelings.
Marcos was six-seven years old when his father has remarried, he sold him to a goatherd that he carried him to Sierra Morena, wild place to hard accessible in the south of Spain, for to help a old shepherd to care his herd.
After a while, the shepherd died and Marcos was left alone.
In this movie, the best part for me is when Marcos hunting well, when he is meant with the wolves and he survives and finally when the Civil Guard finds him (1965).
It's brilliant and amazing.
But, I didn't like the abandonment of Marcos and the part when the shepherd die.
It's very emotive and sad.
At the end of the film, Marcos appears in Sierra Morena (2010) and he call the wolves and they come with him.
It's surprising!!
My rating of this movie is:
****a masterpiece
